  1. My husband started taking online courses to earn his Masters of the Arts in education last spring. He earned his bachelor’s over twenty years ago and has been working as a high school gym teacher and the junior varsity baseball coach in our community for the last 9 years. His job and our family keep him very busy but he had always talked about getting a master’s in education and working his way up the local board of education hierarchy. With online courses, he will earn the M.A. in just three years. Taking graduate classes at the local campus at night would have taken twice as long and cost more than twice as much. His aspiration to be superintendent of the district is starting to materialize and I couldn’t be happier for him. Online college is proving to be exactly the right solution for him to get his master’s decades after he finished his undergraduate work.

  2. Completing all of my general education credits online has cut the cost of my daughter’s college degree in half. She is now enrolled at a respected university and is only two years away from her bachelor’s degree. I could never have afforded to send her away to college for all four years.
